Laptop Repairs and Upgrades
People are often under the misapprehension that a major upgrade can be made to laptops. An example is somebody purchasing a computer game and finding out that the laptop is not up to specification to run the game. This is usually down to the graphics chipset in the laptop. Unless the laptop is very high-end and has a replaceable graphics card then nothing can be done to resolve this problem. Basically, most laptops have what they refer to as ‘onboard’ graphics which are fixed and cannot be changed. You can however have a memory upgrade which will invariably improve laptop performance.
